Mission and Vision

Mission

Berean Christian High School is dedicated to providing a quality, Bible-centered education to develop lifetime followers of Christ.

Vision 2010

In September of 2004, an intensive envisioning process was initiated at Berean, incorporating input from the leadership, faculty and staff, parents, students, alumni, and friends of Berean. The team invested hundreds of hours in reviewing the entire ministry of Berean and then made recommendations that eventually led to a five-year plan entitled: “Vision 2010 – Passing the Torch - A Vision for Excellence.”

Berean Christian High School has recently completed the final draft of our Vision 2010. As you read the Vision, we encourage you to look to the future with us by viewing the Imperatives for Excellence which are incorporated into the Vision document. We are so thankful for the progress that has been made and acknowledge that it is the hand of God that has directed and blessed BCHS.

Berean Christian High School will be an educational institution where young people receive a distinctive Christian education focused on college preparatory studies rooted in the Word of God. This will be accomplished in an environment promoting discipleship in a process of faith/learning development. Caring, committed, and highly qualified teachers nurture and challenge students to become lifelong learners through an educational program marked by academic and extracurricular excellence. Drawing from a diverse Christian community, the school partners with parents and their churches to develop students’ unique, God-given talents to their highest potential. We will provide the facilities, programs, instruction, developmental and spiritual support that will graduate students who are moving to maturity of faith, thinking biblically and critically, and impacting the culture in which they live. The ultimate goal is to graduate mature students who live for the glory of God, are lifetime followers of Christ, demonstrating Christian character and servant leadership.
