Procedures

Selecting a high school can be both a daunting and exciting process. Think about the person you are, the high school experience you would like to have, and the academic and spiritual commitment you and your family are willing to make. At the end of the admissions process, you may find your best discovery is a new appreciation of yourself, your interests and talents!

During the Admissions process, we invite you to "get to know" us and we most certainly would like to get to know you. We provide many venues to assist you and your family in applying and choosing the most stimulating high school environment. On the following pages you will find all the information to help make your application process as smooth as possible. The administration and staff are always here to help, so please feel free to contact us at your convenience.

New Applications

Visit our school

Two informative events give parents and students an inside look at BCHS: Prospective Student Day in January for new incoming prospective students and Parent Information Night, which is focused to parents of prospective students.

Complete an application

Applications may be submitted in February for the following academic year. The application form can be picked up at the school, or picked up at Parent Information Night, and mailed or returned to the office starting the next morning.

Next Steps

Applicants being considered for acceptance will be contacted for a family interview. The Admission office will contact you concerning these steps.

Decisions

Each student's file is reviewed by the Admission Committee, which meets in an executive session. Decisions include the applicant's potential for success in our program and the parents' desire for a Christ-centered education for their children. Parents will be notified in writing as to acceptance or non-acceptance. Reasons for either decision are kept confidential within the committee.

Acceptance

Families will be notified by mail. A full transcript from the student's prior school must be received before the student can attend classes. BCHS reserves the right to retract an offer of admission to a student previously accepted if the final transcript reveals performance or behavior unacceptable to BCHS's standard for admission or if any information on the original application is found to be false.

Re-enrolling Applications

Each year, Re-Enrollment Agreements are mailed out in early January, and are due back March 2nd. The Agreements must be signed by the parent/guardian responsible for tuition payment and also by the student. The non-refundable re-enrollment fee per agreement must also be included.
