Our Parent Service Fellowship has a variety of ways for you to serve, allowing you to utilize whatever time and talents you can provide. Most of our activities and events fall under our “Staff and Support” Committee, and cover the following four general areas of service:
- STAFF SUPPORT
“Helping Hands” Program: We solicit donations from our school families for specific items or services requested by the teachers and individual departments (i.e., drama, music and art).
- STAFF APPRECIATION
We coordinate different activities throughout the school year to show our appreciation to the staff for all they do for the school and our students, including: Notes of encouragement throughout the year; Thanksgiving “Gift Baskets”; a Christmas Luncheon; and Snacks and meals for their In-Service days.
- FAMILY FELLOWSHIPS
We will organize activities at local restaurants or Bay Area sporting events that will promote fellowship among our BCHS family and allow us to receive donations from these venues that will support our PSF programs and activities.
- SCHOOL SUPPORT
- Providing “Snack Baskets” for our staff and students during Finals Week
- Organizing a “Welcome Pancake Breakfast” for incoming Freshman parents
- Establishing a PSF Scholarship Program
